I had a great stay at the Hotel Adler and would definitely recommend the place to travelers who enjoy a more quite and restful place. It can be a good place to stay with children, but there's not much to do around the hotel for the little ones. Furthermore, the pool is too deep for small children, because there's no shallow end. The view from the pool-terrace on lake Como is spectacular. It's a family-run hotel and the owners go out of their way to make your stay as comfy as possible. Without getting obtrusive. The restaurant serves good, basic Italian food (cooked by the owner) and the overall cleanliness of the place is excellent. A place I would definitely consider returning to! Great value for money.
If I had to say something it would be that the mattress of the single room was a bit too hard for my taste. Since the room was located on the front side of the hotel (which is a noisy, busy road) I had to sleep with the windows closed. That helps to drown out the noise, but since there's no other way to ventilate, the rooms gets a bit stuffy after a while.

During our stay at Adler, we were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The owners went above and beyond to carry our luggage to our rooms and back down when we checked out. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the magnificent surroundings. The restaurant at Adler exceeded our expectations, offering delicious meals prepared by a talented chef. The staff were always friendly and helpful, providing us with all the assistance we needed. The highlight of our stay was the lovely pool, where we spent our afternoons enjoying the sun and refreshing ourselves in the jacuzzi. The hotel also had a convenient location for those with a car, and we were able to park in their secure and spacious car park. The breakfast offered a variety of options, pleasing both sweet and savory cravings. our experience at Adler was fantastic, and we hope to return in the future.

This family run hotel is a short drive outside of Menaggio in an elevated position. It has stunning views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains and has the bonus of having a lovely pool & sun terrace- ideal for relaxing by after a stroll by the lake. We had some of the best food of our holiday here. There's no menu as the owner cooks all the meals with fresh ingredients so he just has a chat with you each day about what's on offer and always has a few choices for both primi & secondi piatti. Would happily stay here again.

The family owned hotel is meticulously maintained and the owner Jackomin is always present. They are very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions you may have about the region.
You have to drive up some winding roads to get there and there may be traffic because of the hospital located nearby.

The Hotel Adler offers great value for money with its excellent prices and attention to detail. Situated on the hills of Menaggio, it provides a stunning view from the rooms with nice balconies. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide top-notch service. The rooms themselves are comfortable with comfy beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread is diverse, with many Italian dishes for all tastes, especially on the sweet courses.
All was perfect.

This is a lovely, friendly, family-run place with great hiking trails and walks nearby. It is child-friendly as well. The local scenery is awesome-- it's one of the most beautiful areas of Europe. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. There is a pleasant swimming pool attached to the hotel.
You probably need a car if staying here, or at least a motor bike. The hotel is several km uphill from Menaggio town centre and is difficult to access on foot--the local roads are traffic-friendly rather than people- friendly. The bus service takes a while to get used to and the taxi service is patchy.

Close to the mountains and the lake - wonderful with the swimming pool
Our room was directly out to the road and there was traffic of all kind all day and night - felt like sleeping in the middle of a highway

We stayed in Hotel Adler for just two nights and we liked it very much. It's small and very personal. The staff (the owner and his family) were very helpfull. It has a nice pool and from the pool you have a nice view at the lake. The owner makes a menu at the evening. Its very good. A little bit to much and to fast. The room is not bery modern, but neat and clean, We will visit Hotel Adler once again.

The staff is really kind and helpful. The hotel is clear and nice, there is a great panorama from the room.
The hotel is a bit far from the lake and the center of the city. However it is in a good position for taking trips to the mountains.
